NextHome Joins eXp: What It Means for Buyers and Sellers

You might have heard that NextHome has been acquired by eXp World Holdings. The big question is simple. What does this mean for you?

The short answer is this. Your experience stays the same, but the support behind the scenes just got stronger.

What Actually Happened

NextHome has joined forces with eXp World Holdings, Inc. to help lead a new franchise division.

This is not a move into a new brokerage model. NextHome remains its own brand, and here at NextHome Realty Solutions BCS, nothing about how we work with you is changing.

What This Means for You

From a client perspective, this is a positive shift.  And not much will change that you'll be able to tell.

For sellers, your home continues to get full exposure across all major platforms. There are no restrictions or limited visibility. More exposure means more opportunity.

For buyers, the guidance, communication, and strategy you rely on stay the same. What improves is the level of tools and support working behind the scenes.

What Stays the Same

This is the part most people care about.

  • You still work with NextHome Realty Solutions BCS
  • Your process, communication, and representation stay the same
  • Your goals remain the focus of every decision

In real estate, the relationship and strategy matter most. That does not change.  Our President, James Dwiggins, said it well, “At NextHome, our strength has always come from our people — our brokers, agents, and the clients they serve in communities across the country. This next step gives our members even more ways to deliver value, giving them access to additional resources and support while keeping the model and culture they believe in. It allows us to continue doing what we do best: helping people find their next home in a way that feels personal and supported.”

Why This Matters in Today’s Market

The real estate landscape has shifted over the past few years. Fewer home sales, rising costs, and increased competition have made it harder for smaller companies to keep up.

This partnership gives NextHome the scale and resources to stay competitive, continue improving technology, and support clients at a higher level long term.

Practical Takeaways

  • Sellers benefit from strong, open listing exposure
  • Buyers still receive clear guidance with improved tools behind the scenes
  • You are working with a brand built to stay stable and competitive
